Buddism which is originated in India 🇮🇳 is based Around the teachings of Gautama Buddha (Siddhrata Gautam). Gautama buddha was born around 563 bc, in Kapilavastu, lumbini in Sakta clan. His father suddhodan & mother maya devi also known as gautami that is why siddhrata is known as Gautam. Pali is the language that was used by buddhist.Many things are promoted during buddism that are Woman education & equality to everyone without regarding their Caste (Varna) . In the ancient indian history majorly two important kings have promoted this religion vastly The great Ashoka (Mauryan king) after the kalinga bloodshed war, this had a great impact on him, followed this Buddha dharma & second King Kanishka .
Gautam Buddha left his home at the age of 29 years, & after 6 year's of wandering around he attained Enlightenment ( bodhi) at the age of 35 years. finds the truth about life and stops being reborn because they have reached Nirvana. Once you get to Nirvana you are not born again into samsara.
. Buddha first preaching was Sarnath , His first teachings was Called dhammaparivartan chakra ( wheel of truth)
